Daniel E. Levin, DVM

Daniel E. Levin, DVM

Dr. Daniel Levin has been practicing veterinary medicine in South Florida for the past 28 years. He earned both his Bachelor's Degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Florida, where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.

Dr. Levin has dedicated himself to providing superior medicine and care to all of his patients, and he firmly believes that each pet should be treated with love, respect and dignity. He specializes in small animal medicine and has a special interest in preventative medicine.

Dr. Levin is a longstanding member of several veterinary organizations including the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA) and the Broward County Veterinary Medical Association (BCVMA).

Beyond providing great medical care to all his patients, Dr. Levin believes strongly in giving back to the community. He is a proud supporter of local pet events and actively raises funds for Dance Marathon at the University of Florida, an organization which strives to raise funds and awareness for the kids at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. Dr. Levin's daughters, Paige and Alyssa, are proud alumnae of the program.

In his spare time, Dr. Levin enjoys travel, reading, and football. As a UF alum and an avid Gators Fan, he loves supporting the home team. But most importantly, he enjoys time with his wife Julie, his children, and his family pets.

Luke Viramontes, DVM

Dr. Luke Viramontes

Dr. Luke Viramontes joined the staff of Embassy Lakes Animal Hospital in June 2018. He earned both his Bachelor’s degree in biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida.

He specializes in small animal medicine and has a particular interest in dentistry and neurology.

Originally from Long Island, Dr. Viramontes grew up in the Tampa area and remembers deciding to become a veterinarian when he got his first pet.

He keeps busy with his own three dogs, particularly Daisy, who despite only having three legs, loves to go on short walks when not relaxing at home.

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling around the country to new destinations, going to concerts, listening to artists that he is not familiar with, and practicing yoga to maintain a healthy mind and spirit

As a double “Gator” alumni, Dr. Viramontes also loves going to Gainesville during football season.

He is extremely excited to be a part of Embassy Lakes Animal Hospital and is looking forward to making a positive impact with his patients and the community.
